quick update: i’m still alive

If you’re a regular reader of this here li’l blog, you’ve probably noticed I’ve been absent as of late. Between coming back from Haiti, the holidays, and y’know, life in general, it’s been a bit busy.

For example, this is where I am right now:

(That’s Japan.)

Just wanted to let you know I haven’t forgotten about you. And if you’ve seen some awesome covers, do let me know. (And no, I’m not trying to play the lazy card, I’m genuinely interested.)

I’m also hoping to find and explore a Japanese bookstore while I’m here. Here’s hoping I find a severe lack of SGiPD covers.

Last but not least, I hope you have a wonderful new year!

  1. Yay, you’re in Japan! Hope you enjoy the vacation with your parents. That’s a lovely picture, lomo or instagram? I have a feeling you’d enjoy browsing in a Japanese bookstore, they have some beautiful covers for US/UK books over there.

  2. Awesome we’re in the same continent! Enjoy Japan, and I hope you get to eat tons of good food and have a wonderful New Year with your family. 🙂

  3. Don’t give up on the SGiPD! Sometimes they have a story! 😀

<3, your perpetually optimistic book-cover loving pal. xoxo

ps) New on my bucket list: a trip to some big bookstore to spend time peeping book covers with that cover girl. I think we'd often have differing views and many laughs. I think we'd also have the same views and many hi-fives.

  4. Oh my gosh, you have the best life ever 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful trip and happy holidays. I will be happy to rejoin the blogosophere at the beginning of the year and I look forward to having you back too!

  5. Have so much fun in Japan! It’s been one of the places I long to visit, since i was in the seventh grade. I hope you’re having a blast!

  6. Japan! SO JELLY! Capillya, you are so well traveled and that is AMAZING.

I hope you have THE BEST TIME EVER and find gorgeous book covers 😀 Oh oh and that you get to eat pocky that stuff is delicious!

  7. Have you discovered Holly Goldberg Sloan’s “I’ll Be There” yet? I bought it because of its fabulous cover and it’s one of the best books I’ve read all year.

  8. Merp! You’re close to me! Swing by! 😀 (No, actually, that would be very difficult for you. I’ll just enjoy the fact that you are in Japan.)
